Technical Sales Manager

We're looking for a commercially minded professional who can help customers solve complex supply chain challenges and maximise the value they achieve from our solutions.

In this role, you'll work alongside our Business Development team to develop new business, shape customer solutions, build compelling value propositions, and support customers in realising value. Once customers are onboarded, you'll become a trusted commercial partner, identifying opportunities for growth and supporting account retention and expansion. You'll work closely with Customer Success throughout implementation and beyond to ensure customers receive value from our solutions.

📍 Location: We are open to candidates based anywhere within the US, with remote working available within this country.

What You'll Do:

This is a highly cross-functional role combining solution development, account growth, customer engagement, and strategic relationship management.

Grow Existing Customers

• Build trusted, long-term relationships with assigned customers and understand their evolving needs

• Conduct regular business reviews, identify opportunities for growth, and support account retention

• Drive expansion through new use cases, geographies, products, and business units

• Work closely with Customer Success to support successful implementation, customer satisfaction, and value delivery

• Develop strong customer advocacy and references

Support New Business

• Partner with Business Development on strategic sales opportunities

• Understand customer challenges and translate them into effective solutions and compelling value propositions

• Build business cases that demonstrate the value of SkyCell's solutions

• Engage stakeholders across operations, procurement, quality, and supply chain functions

• Coordinate with Product, Pricing, and Commercial teams to develop solutions that meet customer needs

• Revenue growth across new and existing customers

• Expansion within strategic accounts

• Effective collaboration across Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Commercial teams

• Trusted relationships with customers and internal stakeholders

What You'll Bring:

• Experience in technical sales, account management, customer success, solution engineering, business development, or enterprise sales, ideally within logistics or cold chain

• Experience working with complex solutions and customer environments, with the ability to understand needs and translate them into effective solutions

• A structured and organised approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow processes effectively

• Strong analytical and commercial skills, with the ability to use data to develop customer insights, business reviews, and value propositions

• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate and influence effectively across different functions and levels

• Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
